New Mexico United's five-match win streak came to a tough end on Saturday night at The Lab.The Black and Yellow fell 2-0 to Birmingham Legion FC in front of their home crowd. The 12,547 fans at The Lab marked the largest attendance in the USL this season.United's offense, which had scored 15 goals during their win streak, was stifled by Birmingham.At the team's press conference on Wednesday, captain Kalen Ryden said while the loss was tough to take, the team is already preparing for a big bounce back. "A message that I had said to the guys is that it's behind us," Ryden said. “The 90 minutes is over, obviously no one is happy in the moment. We've played 14 games this season and we've only lost three. We're still in a good spot and all we can do is get right back to work and that's what we did yesterday."NM United now hits the road for their next match as they face Monterey Bay FC for the first time in club history. Kickoff on Saturday, June 2 is set for 8 p.m.
